my other half thought it was really sad and was more concerned about what it had done to him as an individual.
I just thought it was an acting masterclass - loved how they all got in on the act as well.

Bright. 7/10. Worth a couple of hours viewing and an interesting take on race relations / ill paired cop dramas.

finally saw Dunkirk at a special showing at the TIFF lightbox last night.
wow. am so glad I managed to see it on the big screen. stunning film and soundtrack and brought back lots of childhood memories - from the cushions on the trains to stories my grandad told me about it from when he was a boy.
9/10

Wind River - 7/10 Although its an amazing landscape, definitely wont be moving to Wyoming anytime in the soon - the winter looks harsh as fuck there Thriller/whodunnit with some dark scenes, Jermey Renner puts in a surpisingly good turn

The Autopsy of Jane Doe. Was hoping this was going to be good as had heard good things, but was disappointed with the route it went down. Brian Cox is generally good in everything (He's the best Hannibal Lecter, for example) but was sleep walking this one. 6/10

rewatched Inception last night after Dunkirk in the week.
been a while since I watched so there was a fair amount I had forgotten and it's still as good as I remembered it.
