anything with that fucking awful yost keon spacecraft track would ruin any mix. the womb mix was ok for the first hour and this flopper destroys the entire flow.

Take Dermo's opinions on what's being played in clubs with a mahoosive pinch of salt on the basis that he last went to a club 23 years ago.

It makes we want to pull my fingernails out with pliers. Name a worse track he's played in the last 5 years. Time's up. You can't.

Have you heard LNOE 50 & 51? Probably flicked through it. The tracklists are usually enough to make me weep to be honest. Just don't like what he plays anymore in clubs and that's about it. If he played like the 6 mix I'd still be an avid fanboy.
It does amaze me how many DJ's put out these absolute regular shite club mixes then occasionally they put out something different that is amazing , it's like they are just trying to keep their career going to fund a certain lifestyle.

That's spot on. If Sasha could have made it moving into soundtrack / soundscape production, tv and film/incidental music (which he tried and failed to break into) I'm pretty sure he would have tried to have reduced his DJing dramatically.

I'd much prefer to play walloping great prog in heaving nightclubs than soundtracking some poncy Hollywood movie.

At my age I’d take the poncy soundscape thing any day over playing essentially the same set every week on a 3 month track rotation, living an endless nocturnal weekend with septic tanks shouting ‘Sorsha’ in my ear. God knows he doesn't need the money? But he has form in this... I remember when he spent 2 years re-arranging and producing involv3r, then knocked out a 6mix for BBC a month later in 2 hrs that shat all over it. New Clarian track on LNOE- is the A1- Into the Unknown feat on LNOE 51 & 53 btw.

He's still finishing his sets with it.

Finally listened to LNOE 55 all the way through.
Thoroughly enjoyable. Especially the track at 30:15, proper nutty tune when it breaks. Kinda tune he used to drop at Fabric at 5am when it first opened.

Not to mention the years from 1996 til 2002 where he missed countless gigs due to getting sidetracked working on his artist album. It wasn’t worth the wait or the gigs missed. It was funny when he did turn up and people would say that he played loads of tracks from his up and coming album, only for it to transpire that he didn’t play a single track from his album until 2002 when it was finally released.

Only for James Holden to do it all for him.

What people would say this? Tbf I saw him a fair few times in 98 and 99 and he never played anything off the album. He was hammering 'Hey Boy Hey Girl' and 'Fibbonaci Sequence' though.
