The track on Deadmau5 is far from shite.
This episode wasn't the best but there's plenty of good episodes over the last few months, change the record Derms. Posting for the sake of it now lol

Lol, not saying you can't post, Dermo. All I'm saying is you could copy and paste every comment you've made since about 2012 from every Sasha thread and still get the same result.
We get it.

Maybe controversial here but I'm shocked at what sasha's playing these days compared with 2009-2014 anyway. I'm hoping its a little better on Easter Monday! I swear to fk I heard a EDM drop come on nearly!

I swear to fk I heard a EDM drop come on nearly! No youre right, his sets are resembling EDM to my ears more and more of recent, if thats what you want to call it. Some of it is proper cringe. Some of the drum and snare rolls are for teeny boppers or people with very little care of an underground sound. Digweed is guilty of it too. I believe its to stay relevant to a certain demographic that pays their wages. You're not telling me if people suddenly stopped going to their gigs theyd carry on playing the same sound? Would they fuck. Cheeselite keeps the money coming in. For now anyway.

Would they fuck. Cheeselite keeps the money coming in. For now anyway. Maybe you're right to a certain extent but that's the parts of their sets they choose to broadcast? It's in their interest to broadcast the feel good uplifting stuff to appeal to as many listeners as possible to get more punters through the door at their gigs. The pair of them are also extremely astute business men - I can easily see them taking that into consideration when picking which hours to broadcast. As an example, Sasha absolutely leveled Fabric last year from hours 4-7 but only broadcast hours 1 and 2 IIRC. You can't tell me Digweed doesn't ramp it up into banging techno in his extended sets either but he rarely broadcasts those parts of his sets. You can't also say they don't reinvent their sound periodically - they lead the trends (see the electro house, usuhaia and plodding techno periods of their sets), rather than follow. I'm off to see Uncle John tonight as it happens. Hold tight for feedback. PS - I think the man like has been on form for the last couple of years really - if it's cheesy to other people, I can't see that bothers me personally. Always preferred cheese to pretentious.

Maybe Wally. It's still an advert though. And if they choose to advertise cheese than they are playing for the money not the love or passion. I'd also say Sasha is an incredibly poor business man and diggers is the opposite.

Maybe, just maybe, they actually love the music they play? >> I'd also say Sasha is an incredibly poor business man Why? Curious to hear the reasoning behind this before replying.

It's pretty well known he got had off by managers and frittered away most of his money. He also had failed label attempts. I'd also say that kind of wealth is pure fantasy. If you believe the likes of forbes though go for it. Even diggers a little while back that 20 mil was wildly exaggerated.

He's got LNOE which has just hit 100 releases - that's impressive these days - must be a money maker. The Refracted tour must be a massive money maker for him as well. Can't comment on him getting mugged off earlier in his career - it wouldn't surprise me given he was into partying and fucking around but he's certainly seemed to have reeled all that excess back in these days and got his head together in that respect. I kind of get the feeling that's why him and uncle John sorted their differences out and started playing together again tbh. Not sure why you'd discount the Forbes stuff without some complimentary evidence to back that up. It aint important really though. I just don't think he's a shit business man these days - too many avenues of revenue aside from the DJing these days.

Summarized in one picture - There is simply no way on Earth Diggers would be doing this if he was only in it for the money.
