This mix is not the best with the flow and whatnot, but does have some tremendous tunes.

I saw Dixon in Ibiza for the first time in June. Whilst he played quite a few good tracks the set lacked any real flow and at times felt all over the place. Pacha was half empty and it was only €31 in. Not sure he'll be doing another season out there. Definitely not at Pacha if he does.
Was also disappointed with the lack of zeitgeist he was bigging up the night to have. Clearly cutting back on costs. Probably lost a fucking fortune.

Really enjoyed this. Good tunes. Personally think the issues many have with Dixon is one of expectations. I don't think he's changed that much over the years. Some of the tracks he plays I wouldn't buy but they make sense when he puts them together. One of the best going. |
