Do love a beef bourguignon, dauphinoise potatoes and a chateauneuf du pape on occasion. Would agree some French food is overrated though.

And French wine is over-rated. The odd Bordeaux aside, it's bobbins. Italians and Spanish do it much better on the food and wine front.
