Do love a beef bourguignon, dauphinoise potatoes and a chateauneuf du pape on occasion. Would agree some French food is overrated though. After Brexit, we can rename any French food we want to keep with a PROPER BRITISH NAME like we did with Beef Wellington. lol. 'That's not a croissant mate, it's a facking poof pasty.'

No one across the world could name you any famous Italian seafood dishes. Where as pizza and virtually all their biggest export pasta dishes are smothered in it. Its the staple of their diet. Only smalldick has it without.
