So the thing with this Balenciaga nonsense. I've just had a quick look through their look book for 2020 and 2019. Has anyone honestly ever seen anyone dressed like that? I apparently live in one of the most cosmopolitan places on the planet and regularly go to HK and Singapore as well as Melbourne which has a lot a fashion victims and can safely say I've never seen any cunt wearing any of this shit. Treat yourself go and have a look www.balenciaga.com/au/men/collections/fall-20-m_sectionActually a few of the looks in there are similar to styles I've seen a fair bit of in Berlin, e.g. looks 6, 7, 8, 12 and 53. The whole really oversized, slightly musty, almost 80s style suit pieces combined with any old, often clashing things underneath, and then chunky, "ugly" trainers (for either gender), or sometimes power heels for girls, is certainly seen here. The clothes will most usually be vintage though, but sometimes the trainers or shoes might actually be something like Balenciaga (and genuine). Personally I think that sometimes it can look quite good, but it's really, really something that most people couldn't pull off. |
