Did he do it all on his own? Got it in my head that the instrumental from Smokebelch II must have been the last track. He mixed the beatless version and another version together for the penultimate track. Last track was Come Together. My mate sent me a video of the Smokebelch mix - fuck me, that was a choker.

Can you imagine? Massive night of classics too.
Hope Sean carries on with ALFOS. Feeling on the night was that he will.

That sounds unreal, grant. You can just imagine the atmosphere in the room at that stage!

I went to this. Found myself in London with a hotel room and nothing to do for the evening. Had tickets to printworks but my friend had an emergency and couldn’t go.
Figured I’d head to phonox about 8 and get in the queue
Got there - no queue! So went to Brixton spoons and had a couple of pints.
About 8:45, joined some other merry revellers in a tiny queue. Really sound people as you’d expect at ALFOS.
9:30 rolls around...doors are going to be late, so some free beers came out.
Got in about 10pm, only downstairs was open so had a few cocktails and waited for upstairs to open. Met lots of awesome people who were all in some way connected to the guv. People who had flown over just for the night. People who’d been regulars at club uk, checkpoint Charlie. So much love in the room. Rumbled upstairs and picked a spot near the back of the dance floor for hours. Stayed there until I slipped on a bra on the dance floor and fell off the stage.
So many tunes. Papa New Guinea..moby - go, versions id never heard before.
Think I left about 2:30 as I’d bollocksed up my knee and wrist. Had a Morley’s and got an uber back to my hotel.
No regrets. I’d had my fill. Hope someone else got in and took my place.

Well, no regrets apart from the heavy bruising.

Could only really see a bit of pink. Everything else was black trampled scuzz.

Has nobody posted this yet? It's fuckin bonkers good. Again rinsed over the years. Pretty sure Sasha used it one NYE at one of the Tyrant gigs.
