Yea Ive watched all the various Narcos offerings and Cartel Land, cocaine cowboys etc. I was just wondering was there a documentary which outlined the current lay of the land in the same sort of detail as the older ones do. Watched a youtube job on Amado Carrillo which picks up from the last episode of season 2 of narcos when Carrillo takes over Juarez. Juarez as a city absolutely fascinates me. Noted that throwing a guys kids off a bridge is the way to really piss someone off.

Not a doc but borderlandbeat.com is probably the best blog out there for the Mexican cartels. Vice does good work down there.

Oh and not a documentary but you should read this as it has a number of chapters on Mexican cartels. The most original writer on Mexico and the border out there. (San Francisco Chronicle Book Review) Over the last 15 years, he has filed the best dispatches about Mexican migration and its effects on the United States and Mexico, bar none. (Los Angeles Times Book Review) I'll check this out, thanks Dave.

May I also ask Ed to submit the best Burrito Bar he has never visited. I think you've already spelled it out for him

"Dream Land" and "Bad Blood" (the one about Theranos) were two that I finished in a day. Both excellent.
