I'm nothing if not varied in my taste in music.

Can't beat Scruff at a festival, otherwise I'd probably swerve.

...I've always enjoyed two fairly distinct types of dance music, the straight-up house stuff (of which there are obviously endless strains/varieties), and the funk/disco/edit stuff, which kinda aligns with the music I listened to as a kid, and to be honest, is much more 'party'-friendly in most scenarios these days.
Never paid much attention to Scruff, but he played up here at Wylam Brewery (massive bar venue here in the Toon), all night from 7'ish 'til about 12.30 and thought he was brill. Perfect music for an extremely varied crowd, not all of whom were hardcore clubbers, but still interesting enough for the 'heads'

There was a video knocking around about his set up that I saw recently. He absolutely loves it

...DJ'ed with him a few times in the '90's when we ran the back room at Open All Hours (*KLANG*). Always thought he was an odd fit for that night, but in some ways it was his big break
