Went once around this time. Wasn't it called 'Heavenly Jukebox' by then? I'm sure I had the flyer on my wall for ages after.
Saw Jon Carter and vaguely remember my cousin spotting Zoe Ball and Sara Cox hanging around. Cousin was at uni in London, a few years older than me and it was a proper 'bright lights, big city' experience for a provincial 17 year old. Also did The Blue Note on another weekend around then, can't remember who was on but saw Goldie hanging around the bar.
Always like Gurnmills to be honest, went quite a bit more over the next few years to The Gallery, it always seemed a great crowd - this was compared to GodsKitchen where I usually went, which was generally a great crowd but always had the problem of crowds of boozers getting in from the Birmingham bars and they were an unwelcome part of it, not really something you got at Turnmills.

I practically lived in Turnmills for 2/3 years.

I went to the Gallery a bit in the 90's, normally if Warren, Seaman or Paul van Dyk were playing. After the millennium, I went more to Red Jerry's monthly Elements nights.

Only got the chance to go to The Gallery once, right near the end. Brilliant club. Nick Warren was banging the muscle prog out, smallman1 would have loved it!
