I think it's fair to say Nick is walloping out the most pedestrian shite you can imagine, 1 or 2 interesting numbers with a deluge of chin stroking pompous Prog thrown in. It's all twinkly and beautiful but I just can't imagine a scenario where it doesn't feel cringe. Maybe a cruise through the Caribbean and he's on in the background at 2pm, volume low enough that you can chat easily. Or maybe you're at a dinner party with some tech nerds out in Sausalito and Nick is out by the pool, by himself surrounded by pot plants, it's 4pm and the host is handing out spritzers, you're thinking, I can't wait to get a bump in and get Alexa to tell Nick to fuck off. Those are the only 2 scenarios in my mind anyway. It didn't even work in his back garden. |

And enjoy them for that reason. I'm not sat at home, off my rocker, sweating and gurning. So don't really need owt with more 'action pumpo' that often. Horses for courses and all that. |

Warren has definitely gone very fluffy prog in the past 3-4 years. I used to really enjoy his sets as there were always some 'bangers' in there, but now it's just Cattaneo-type prog, not in any way memorable.
