Wouldn't you want your Numero Uno dj to deliver every time?

Talabot was certainly the best dj on the planet about 2 years ago for me. I don't however like his slower approach these days. Its very eclectic and i find it uninteresting, personally. I have never seen Bicep DJ however i love their productions. Atlas for me is the track of the year. Baumel is a great dj and his productions are very decent but I find his sets very flat. Too much shitty prog for my liking. Dixon's style these days isn't for me personally either. The recent bolier room hour has some nice tracks in it but overall the music in it is mediocre at best. If i was to pick a dj who consistently plays the music i love, It would Ame (Kristian). Really captures that druggy sound perfectly. I also really like Kevin Di Serna's hypnotic sets, I have never personally seen him DJ mind Agree with all this. Although sometimes Dixon's influence rubs off on Ame(DJ) a little. Havn't heard any of Kevin Di Serna. Will check him out. Check out Ame from Paris, 2017; Aera - 'Moon Palace' sounds great on a big system (55mins)

Got to see Frank Wiederman do a DJ set, although he was doing a lot of remixing on the fly, and he was insane. Easily the best set in the last decade for me. Was pretty sober too.

Any recent Ame set of note Seany? They rarely record any sets. Usually just dodgy recordings floating about.

Perfect vibes in that vid.
Agree about Ame being influenced by Dixon when they play together.
I saw Ame at Oval Space a few years back and he was perfect. 'Proto Ryth' was an unknown ID at the time and it levelled the place.

Proper heads down moment. The sound in there was always great too. The afters was a wobbly one, ended up on the roof of the Royal Sovereign in Clapton with a load of lidders who were sucking nitros oxide out of cans. Great times π
