Did the caffreys fad hit you lads in england in the mid to late 90s? Not sure if it was a lager. Fancy tin with a widget that whizzed when you opened. Went down like water and knocked the absolute cunt out of you after about 6 of them.

Fuck sake, just googled it, you can still get it. Cunts have reduced it from 5.2% to 3.8%, be like drinking carlsberg now.

Had a Birra Moretti last night whilst watching Top Boy. Nay bad.
I quite like Moretti, though I've boycotted it since I realised it was brewed in Edinburgh, not in Italy.
Lol. The taste of Italy, brewed in Scotland.

It's my go to beer at home. And mine here is 100% brewed in Italy.

There was a rival too, Kilkenny I think it was. As I recall, after an initial burst of (huge) popularity, a lot of places stopped serving it, allegedly for that reason - because it went down like water and was getting all their punters wrecked and aggressive. I never touched the stuff after getting properly munted on it one night and vomming all over my bed.

I'd also like to congratulate OP on downloading my pdf on starting threads (£5 to selected JC members, details in the spreadsheet), 5 pager banked in record time.

Yeah, I'm sure I could probably find an imported brew if I looked hard enough. My local Sainsbury is definitely UK brewed - Moretti is owned by Heineken now.

Haha much the same here Dave. Remember it being so smooth it was way too easy to neck quickly

Yeh I was disappointed to read that. The cunts are trying to buy everything.

I wouldn't buy it if is was brewed out of Italy. Can't see the point in doing that with any beer actually.

I think it's to do with cost saving Derm.

while we're talking 'warm up' beer. Anyone get this stuff down them as a reducer before kicking the night off. Used to shotgun cans of that with mates before heading out when I was 17/18. Tough times.
