My kids absolutely love them. It would be a crime to deprive any child of the fish finger butty experience.
In the old days we used to pimp them with mushy peas and grated cheese. Proper stoner munchies.

Maybe in a decent restaurant it is but not in a fish finger toastie it's not.
Melted cheddar, sliced spring onions, shredded lettuce, garlic mayo and a dash of ancona hot sauce makes a decent fish finger sarnie.

Cheese on fish is a massive no-no, obviously. Cheese on fish is a no no yes but dont dismiss til tried. Believe me it works. Grated vintage cheddar with a layer of mushy peas. All kinds of wrong but is a proper Scooby snack. |
