Anyone like to speak up and recommend some decent spots in Liverpool for good grub?

I prefer rump well-done and think thatβs how it should be cooked anyway. Mind you, not over done. Surely you've gotta have rump 'medium' otherwise it's like eating a boot sole.

Well done doesn't mean burnt - medium-well is probably best, but certainly wouldn't want it red/pink.

Never eat Rump or Sirloin steaks, peasant food.
Although if you go for a Sunday roast do you have a choice of beef cuts?

Same, rump is something you get in a Beefeater circa 1978.
Porterthouse or scotch fillet for the dermo household. Dont actually like rib eye, too dry. Needs a bit of marbling.

Sorry to say but Fish Tail closed after Christmas with no notice. It was a cracking fish restaurant and far better value than either Rick Stein or Loch Fyne. But there is no point in telling you this now, only to say that there is no point trying to book a table or select this as a venue of choice when visiting Winchester - sorry.

Same here Dan, although I've been to his restaurant. It's excellent.
