Have no idea if they were.
I was spitting feathers at the fact it took 30 minutes to get me a Quilmes.

Ox cheek nuggets to start with the slow cooked beef short rib for main. Bang average and the service was absolutely diabolical. Beef for starters and main? Thicket.

Best steak in SW London has to be Roxie’s still...

Roxie's is good but the service I received in Earlsfield was terrible.
Hawksmoor gets my vote.
Bang on every time.

Cockcheeks Remward-Shitneck really is rubbish at eating out. Another disaster here in his course selection, as pointed out by Dermo.
If I was forced to invite him to a decent restaurant I'd sit him in the corner and just say "chicken dippers and chips for the long-necked bairn, he has no palate", what a total fucking weapon.
This is a bloke who eats at a 'Cantonese' restaurant called 'North China' if I recall correctly, when Cantonese food is from the far south. What a tagnut.

Yeah I used to really like it there and went probably once a month on average. Since the revamp, which does look pretty great, feels as though they’re keener to get you in and out than before. Still like it, and often a good buzz, but unless you’re eating late ish they’re going to be keen to get you out (has been my experience, maybe it just depends on the day in question).

North China is a West London institution!

North China is a West London institution! Hmm, let me quickly scan the menu... SPECIAL PEKING SET COURSES CHEF’S CHOICE (MINIMUM FOR TWO) £29.50 PER PERSON Satay Chicken Read enough. Satay Chicken has nothing to do with Peking (Beijing). I've never even seen it there. It's not even Chinese, it's Malay food and a Malay word. Like going to what you think is a trendy scandi restaurant and them serving you paella.
