Two restaurants that were stellar in Bangkok. Thai Thai Boat Noodles in Siam Square. I’ve had a lot of kaprows in my life, the one served here easily sits on top. They take it to the next level by add crispy pork skin and bacon to the mince. The boat noodles also, were delicious. Don’t be fooled by the ratings on Google, a few people upset that it’s a tad bit overpriced. Err Urban Rustic - This place is a bit expensive, but the food is on another level. Great for a date night and the cocktails were brilliant too. www.errbkk.com/Also if you like bubble tea, fire tiger is lovely.

Do you actually drink bubble tea, Rhouses? I thought it was just for children and Dave buying it for teenage girls?

That’s fairly true about bubble tea. Ha.
Can’t say I’m a connoisseur, but I do enjoy them once in a while. Especially when I’m dealing with nutty humidity in countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and you’re walking passed tons of specialty places in those countries.

Talisman in Nairobi yesterday.
“Taliban” strength hot wings followed by a massive piece of rare fillet steak. Washed down with beer.
Not been out for a massive dinner in a while.
Delightful

Did a cooking course there the other week. Was great. Glad to hear it’s still going with IH Ed. It’s a great restaurant. Almost local to me

Moncks on Dover Street, W1.... monckslondon.com/Really like this place... the Mac and Cheese (with truffle) is spectacular winter fodder, and other dishes we have had were great too.
