Deep fried, thinly battered Halloumi sounds all kinds of mint.

Jellied eel sounds okay, but whats that mess with the things go down in a pea soup?
My Missus chooses between the meals due to their appearences. No doubt, she won't choose that last one in the pic.

Beans should never, ever be exposed to other liquids other than HP sauce and then only accidental contact is allowed.

Haha, honestly, mate, you need to try it. Especially if you have beans with a chippy. You lads don't have proper pasties, sure you don't? Fucking weird things wrapped in pastry you get, like a cornish pastie. Chips, beans and a proper chippy pastie, smothered in vinegar is one of life's simple pleasures.

I am with you on vinegar on beans. Immense. No idea what "anything pastry" means.

Do you mean cooked and then mixed in with the baked beans, slaw?

Has anyone tried ancona hot pepper sauce, just after slaw's post above? Serious gear, that is! Lovely in baked beans or tomato soup. Or even stew.

I am with you on vinegar on beans. Immense. No idea what "anything pastry" means. A pastie is generally made from pastry. I can only think that your little UK Outpost has been too remote for too long and you are in dire need of repatriation asap. Don't even tell me how you fuck with tea. The queen is frail and news like this from the colonies could push her over the edge.

Oh, dermo. Dear oh dear.
Your english pasties are. Which i alluded to in my post. Our chippy pasties are infinitely superior. Made with the same potato, meat and spice filling but are battered to give them a slight edge on the cholesterol battle with an english pastie. But ours taste better.
Our tea is also better. Strong and a dash of milk in mine.
How is the tea in the little UK outpost of Oz, mate?
