I get pilloried for liking tinned tomatoes on my fry ups. And chips.
4 rashers of bacon, 2 sausages, black pudding, 1 egg, chips, beans and tinned tomatoes. Obviously, only HP Sauce.

What constitutes a full english? An Ulster Fry is soda bread, potato bread, pancake, sausage, bacon, black pudding and eggs. I swap the black pudding for vegetable roll and add beans. Brown sauce only. No red. No mushrooms. Couple of mugs of nambarrie or punjana tea. With milk. A full english is a contentious issue, but for me the ultimate is: 2 x good quality sausages, 2 x rashers of smoked bacon, 2 x fried eggs, fried mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and toast (optional beans and balck pudding), with a cup of tea.

Are the tinned tomatoes heated before being added to the plate? Or served cold, like the sauce?

Vegetable roll is a bit like square sausage. Potato farls are a different beast. Are the potato cakes flat, grant, we could be on about the same thing?

Those are the babies. Actually, they're called potato scones, or at least that's what they're called where I'm from.

Lol, happy days! Potato farls by name over here. Lightly fried in a pan with a splash of oil, not deep fried, with a bit of bacon and some brown sauce, they are fucking magnificent.

Potato farms are indeed different gravy. Fried in butter. Poached egg and crispy bacon? Gtfi
