Zack, to confirm, the new Objekt album is absolutely awful. oh there wasn't a doubt in my mind. his singles that i've heard, which also suck, sound nothing like the album i have. as previously stated, the album that i have is all idm bullshit of the highest order. but the singles i've heard were all bad attempts at the style that i think shed and his various aliases do well. id call it like deliberately 90s style rave tunes. i remember there being some hubbub on bedrock about one of objeckt's tunes that sasha was playing. i gave it a listen and to my ears it was a poor mans attempt at a wk7 tune. |

The new Rufus album is a bit too EDMish for my liking. But I mean, decent enough hooks in it and the vocals are stellar. Not a patch on the previous album though. Best to swerve unless you're looking for a bit of cheese.
