Finally got around to giving John Hopkins latest a go - great stuff. He was incredible at Body & Soul at the weekend. It can't be stressed enough that this guy is operating on a completely different level to his peers. I would recommend a visit to see him in the strongest possible terms. |

Hopkins Singularity - For me, this is still the best artist album this year so far. Beautifully banging yet ethereal.

Have to agree, TribalGoose. Kept his sound in tact but also far more accessible for new listeners.
Ben Howard's Noonday Dream has made for good listening. Has some very interesting electronica elements to it that people on here might like.

Yeah, it's great. Bought it on the weekend, but didn't have time to listen to it. Put it on when I got home today, and just started from the start every time it ended. Played it three times.

Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons - Heart of Sky..played it twice already & it's very good.Especially if you liked the previous album.

Soulwax Essential - a few fun enough tunes, a few fillers. By no means a classic. The “essential” word repetition across the tracks will also grate on multiple listens.
