Bore fest. Glad I didn't pay to watch it.

Dreadful night of boxing, the Price fight aside.
Promised much, delivered little.
Neither Joshua or Parker were particularly impressive.

Guy with three belts to lose boxes from the outside to utilise his size advantage shocker,,,wins a fourth belt comfortably with no damage. At the age of 28. Having ducked no one in his mission to unify.
maybe go watch ufc lads

Expected that outcome last night. True that the Price fight was more entertaining, sickening KO.

There is no doubting he won very astutely, but as paid entertainment, I thought it was a bland affair.
I cant think if one point in the 12 rounds where I got excited.
Ah well, hopefully the wilder fight will muster more fireworks.

It's boxing, sometimes there's fireworks and sometimes it gets technical and boring. That's what you pay for. To expect "entertainment" every time you fork out money is unreasonable. Don't think I've paid for a boxing fight in about 10 years, solves the problem.

Didn't someone say Americans pay $99 for box office fights?
Gotta hurt that.

Sorry for being a boxing layman and sorry for wanting a bit more action.
It was like a drab 0-0 draw regardless of technical ability.

GGG/Canelo rematch still up in the air, hope it goes ahead but if not the Linares/Lomo fight should be good. Linares is a genuine fighter so it'll be interesting to see how he copes with the little ninja, who I think is unstoppable to be honest.

I hope the possibility of Spike O' Sullivan facing GGG is a wind up, if not, I fear for the man's safety. And so should the organisers.
Give him Saunders instead, now there's another British boxer who needs a reality check.

Canelo's been on the roids apparently, 4 failed tests.
In a sport where you can actually kill someone that is absolutely disgraceful.

Nah, Clenbuterol isn't a muscle builder. It aids with recovery and doctors have already stated there wasn't a performance enhancing amount in his system but enough for him to be suspended.
He's never failed a test before and there's a genuine problem with tainted meat down there. Either way, some downer that the fight is done.

Surely a professional boxer at his level, with the money involved in the game, has a team of proper dieticians looking after what he is eating and ensuring it is not tainted? You really would think so.
