listened to an hour on my way into work this morning. he sounds weird but once you get used to him it's actually ok.

Elon sure has developed quite the cult of personality. It's fine to be an eccentric weirdo (sans calling people pedos) when everything is going well. Doesn't seem like things are going well across the Bay at Tesla. Not that it matters to his committed base of sycophantic supporters. They don't seem to be fazed by a thing.

lol! he wishes that was the case. the stock tanked because tesla has mad issues. it should have tanked sooner, but he artificially inflated the price by lying about tessla going private. there were loads of people shorting tessla, and elon got wind of it, so he lied about privatization. he released the statement without discussing it with the board, and is now in serious trouble with the sec. i wouldn't be surprised if elon is removed by the board of directors, and the stock falls further. |

of couse the auto industry is sleezy, and short sellers will obviously want to make money. neither of those facts absolve a clear sec violation. it’s illegal to lie about taking a stock private. period. he did it to fuck over short sellers because he is a vain pos, who thinks he can get away with what ever he wants.
