I love a drink and I'm dreading the day I get told to turn it in, or realise I need to actually stop myself. It'll happen. I feel I'm getting away with it at the minute and still managing to train an awful lot on the bike.
I've done a couple of dry Januarys and I've lost a fair chunk of weight and after a couple of weeks, I was sleeping brilliantly.

I only get a a few hangovers a year and when I do, I've really kicked the fuck out of myself. If that happened every time I drank, I wouldn't drink.

I can believe it, I have worked with some what you would call 'high functioning alcoholics' who could do the same, not sure why anyone would want to do it though?
Especially horrifying if you drive to work or have some kind of driving job such as sales rep.

Goose Island - I think that's Anheuser Busch's foray into the craft brew market?
In my local in Beijing, everyone was pissed off when they replaced a decent local craft brew with this bland, tasteless mulch, just a focus group approximation of the craft brew in my opinion.
The bar manager told me the big corporate offered to pay for tons of new equipment behind the bar if they fucked off the local competitor.
