Have been trying to cut back on beer to stave off the old gut and it really helps. Mostly drinking red wine and gin these days. In the same glass.

got absolutely Blutoed on free Rioja at a recent works do and ended up on last train that terminated in Southampton at 4am. Almost went into a siding for the night as I had decided to use the opportunity for a 'light snooze' but got turfed off by a disgruntled rail engineer. £80 taxi back to Bournemouth was an absolute treat. Rolling in to distant birdsong and crashing out on the sofa to be woken by son wanting to watch Pokémon at 7am. So yes, I'm very much a connoisseur as well as a fine example to my kids.
