Did anyone see that HBO special on Scientology? It was on a couple weeks back - Cruise comes across as a complete barmpot. That whole deal with Nazanin Boniadi being chosen as his new girlfriend sounds gone out, especially her having to clean toilets with a toothbrush after it was rumbled. Louis Theroux also did one which wasn't as good as Going Clear but he did a podcast discussing his documentary which was more interesting (i thought) |

Scientology is all about money, their main aim was to be classed as a religion to be tax-exempt. Not sure they have a massive following but have built a wedge in real estate.
Apparently they filed so many law suites against the IRS (approx 3500) they finally just gave in and granted them religion status.
