of course they cheated, they always have and definitely didn't stop after spygate. if this turns out to be true, they should be banned from the post season this year and belichick should be banned from coaching.
what will really happen is the same as last time they got caught illegally filming another team: nothing. because the nfl will destroy the evidence again.

Not sure exactly, maybe Zach can shed some light on it. All the bars do it apparently. Your name goes into a box on the grid and if the score matches your name you hit the jackpot. It rolls over if it isn't won. This one rolled over for 11 games I think.

its pretty straight forward and largely stupid. so the grey boxes on the top and lefthand side are filled in with random football friendly numbers. you pay for a spot on the board, and if the numbers on the top and left hand side of the board match the final score and match up with your spot you win. one of several problems is that you don't usually get a spot that you'd want, i.e. a logical score. i've done it at house parties but never in a bar. gambling in bars in generally illegal so idk how common this is. my experience has been that this type of betting is done to get non sports types, women, ed, ex..., to take an interest in the game bc there's not a load of skill in winning. /cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/10137295/super_bowl_squares.png) |
