the eagles got beat by a better team. i'm actually impressed they did that well with the volume of injuries they had.
did i mention fuck new england? nothing better than seeing them lose while brady continues to play like garbage. and an honourable mention to the refs for fucking buffalo. i started that game cheering for the texans and switched half way through. if there was ever a fixed game, that might have been it.

the clowney hit was egregious they could have won that game if wentz played. yeah that hit was bad, it wasn't roughing the passer as he was out of the pocket, but it falls under the helmet to helmet rule that i clearly don't understand. that wasn't a penalty, the patriots knocking josh allen out wasn't a penalty, but burfict gets a lifetime suspension for an open field tackle that was a fraction as dangerous as either of those hits. file it along with catches, pass interference, and holding as nfl mystery calls. |

Sorry, but anyone expecting NFL officiating to be consistent has only themselves to blame. It's been an abortion for years now. Personally, I prefer less calls; let the players play. Easy for me to say that with the NBA, but with the NFL...it's tough given the safety issues. Dunno what the solution is. Replay obviously isn't working.

Tbf he puts up with a lot of shit and obviously was entitled to feel pretty good after their win and his interview was going alright until he mentioned God still sitting on the thrown or some shit. Tosser. I was almost glad the Vikings won as didn't want the Saints at Green Bay on Sunday. Given how Seattle have so many injuries GB can take them. Half expecting Clowney to at least attempt Rodgers' murder though. Glad to see NE get dicked. |

My controversial idea is to stop owners making/changing the rules every year. |

Replay obviously isn't working. agree totally with less calls. i watched a bit of the oilers/bills wildcard game from 91 (i think ... the one that the bills had the biggest comeback ever) and the first thing i noticed was how few flags there were. there were probably 2 dozen plays in the first half that would've been flagged now. the stoppages are making the game unwatchable.
and there's no solution to the safety issues, it's not a safe game. either the nfl figures that out or they're approaching the end of significant viewership.
