it's a big fear right now. i'll be driving down to dc to protest, if that happens. if we don't make that count we are absolutely fucked.

We'll see how strong the #resistance really is if it happens. I mean, clever play to do it at the busiest, most costliest travel, family orientated time to sack him!
Obviously, he has to get Rosenstein to sack him and Rosenstein has already said he sees no reason to do so. So, does Rosenstein do it on orders or does Rosenstein get sacked and a replacement lackey do the business?
Fun times!!

how is there no conflict of interest clause that prevents something like that? surely there has to be some recourse.

any recourse would have to come from congress, and this republican congress has proven that they don't give a fuck.
i can tell you that i am honestly scared. not like bullshit "oooh i'm scared" but 100% genuine "idk wtf will happen" scared. we are on the precipice of finding out if trump is just a blip on the american timeline, or if he marks the beginning of a new way of life. he is reshaping our tax code, he is rebuilding or courts, and now he is going at our law enforcement agencies. he constantly draws insane lines in the sand, and the fox viewing neophytes remain on his side time and time again. republicans have flirted with horrific behavior for years now. they allowed obama to be called an african muslim when they should have denounced that myth as a party, ffs. i really don't think there is anything sacred to republican elected officials, outside of fucking over millennials and poor people, and that is what i am so scared about. things will continue to spiral wildly out of control, and before we know it we are left with a bunch gop 'tards looking around and going "how did this happen?", "we surely didn't think it could have come to this!" a pre terminator 2 distant future but with out the bad ass robots and common cause amongst all of man kind.
normal person: shhh, i hear a pack of t-800's approaching... staunch republican: oh yeah? well i hear that hillary took donations from foreign countries when she was still with the clinton foundation!
not a great place to envision.
if muller is fired impeachment proceedings must begin immediately. the house must pass, and the senate must approve. if that does not happen i really dk where were are or what we do.

it's definitely a strange time. next year's mid-terms will determine how things go i think. if the democrats run the table, it's back to the status quo; if they don't, all bets are off and the republicans know they can do all kinds of dumb shit without repercussion.

Well, its a couple of hours before Trump Time USA, lets see what this week brings? Does Donny intend to fire Mueller, as he said he doesnt yesterday, or is it just more bullshit?

semantics maybe, as he technically can't fire mueller himself? if ww3 and the global economy weren't at stake, this might be entertaining.

Great read. It seems he's just protecting his own business interests in Russia and nothing else, probably weighed by some compromising info on him by Putin. He's far too ignorant and disconnected from geo-politics to care about Syria or Ukraine etc. The idea that an idiot with his standing can just waltz into that position and fix these age old regional problems is a complete farce. He wasn't even canny enough to solve this problem by himself...

of course i do. this is beyond belief. Didn't think I'd hear you say that. Fair play. i never thought he'd be such a cat's paw for the kochs, mercers, ex, and i never thought that fox would go so unabashedly into the world of state tv. i still loath crooked hillary, but there is no possible way a person could deny that their life would be better if she were in office. the country has moved into uncharted territory. that would not have happened under her leadership.

well, we didn't vote for him. hillary is who the majority of americans voted for, but the electoral college is a hell of a thing.
and regarding his still being in office... i am as shocked as you are that the repubs have really fallen into lock step with his bullshit. lindsay graham becoming a trump supporter is astounding. for the moment, that is a scary thing, but in the long run it may pay off; idk how easily they will be able to wash the stink off.

Mueller inquiry expected to go on by the people working on it for until late 2018 at least. So no sense expecting quick results from it even if Trump doesn't try to end it.
