That AA Gill piece is as right now as it was then. Very prescient.
Just finished reading the Best of published after his death. His travel writing is incredible, particularly the stuff about Africa.

Bit of a disingenuous article/question really. The question seems to be would you rather your own outcome on Brexit, or the Union preserved with 58% of Remain voters and 64% of Leave voters saying theyβd rather have their own way on Brexit than see the Union preserved. Remainers don't want anything changed so we're not going to cut NI loose to remain in the EU. Bit of an odd assertion.

All Brits like a White Pudding with their Ulster Fry and we would miss Giant's Causeway too much.

So long as you pay the tariff on it, no one is.

I'm not kidding. better get used to drinking British wine I wonder what impact, if any, it will have on the price of non-EU wines coming to the UK. Personally, I'd much rather have South American or Australian wines over anything else. I don't tend to drink anything other than red. Presumably the tarrifs on these will reduce?

I very rarely drink anything outside of Europe when it comes to wine - I doubt there'll be too much difference - afterall, they need us more than we need them.
WHAT ABOUT THE FRENCH FARMERS?!!!!
