Just had a thought. All the current music will be completely out of date when anyone is allowed to play out again so it will probably never get played. But - everyone will be sat at home with nothing else to do but make more. This will leave a massive void or time frame of tunes that effectively never get played out, will be dated and probably never get released. Could be up to a year of music that becomes obsolete or forgotten about.
Carry on.

I’m buying a fucking shit load of tunes - loving it.
You’re right though, never thought of the playing out aspect.

I'm looking forward to some Covid-19 concept albums.

I'm genuinely considering taking this time to learn how to produce. I've got everything required to do it, there's no excuse other than the belief that I can actually pull off creating good Prog and whether I've got the patience to put those hours in and countless unreleased attempts.
Quntole I reckon the smarter producers will make some awesome stuff across the year that won't get released for ages, but that is pretty standard. I've praised various artists for recently released tracks that they say they made 18 month ago.
One thing for sure is I'm looking forward to the volume of good Prog that will be available - and if there is just too much, it would be a shame to see some of it go unrecognised.

Mr C is seemingly finding the going tough in LA and was trying to charge cunts 100 bills an hour for personal dj lessons via webcam. My mate called him out over it and he deleted the post.

Remember him having a meltdown on 4Four about Ibiza and a kitten/cat.

Just thought about tv and film too. There's going to be no programmes. Live shows, panel shows etc etc etc. Tv crews won't be allowed to be around one another. A lot of repeats are coming.

No new porn either. And I think I may have watched it all so far. Pornhub to be replaced with MBB repeats?

lol that's an accurate description for most of us making music, with or without this virus.
i've finished 4 tracks in the last 10 days and if my work slows right down, 2-3/week should be in reach. at this pace i can probably write a few decent albums a year that no one will listen to.
it'll be interesting to see what happens to live music as a whole. i would guess that when this is all done, there will be less venues, hesitant crowds, and no one making money in an already difficult industry.
