The missus who is a traditional Turkish woman in that she loves cooking, has been cooking non stop for all meals. I don't know what half the stuff is but I'm having a great fucking time. She currently has a Ramazan Pide in the oven, it's a traditional bread made during Ramadan. The smell of cooking bread wafting through the house is underrated. How’s her lahmacun, Liqui?

Got into baking as well. Have just started making bread. Some of my attempts have been so dense i could build a house if i had enough flour.

I love Turkish pide and lahmacun etc. I've got a Turkish bakery round the corner that does all that. Really hope it survives the current situation as it's cheap as chips and brilliant scran. Missing the baklava with my morning coffee too. Fuck.

Mills, we just half to rename all this food with patriotic names that suggest it was a BRITISH invention - like Beef Wellington. How about Farage Pudding for Pide? BOURNEMOUTH CAKE for Baklava?

They serve lahmacun, even with the Lebanese label. Mini ones which are delightful. It’s owned and run by a Syrian.
