I'm telling you, Ed, Tijuana/Birria-style tacos will make it over your way soon. All the rage here in California. And they're tremendous. Take a taco with braised beef and then fry the bitch. Served with a consomé for dipping.
Tijuana, also tremendous. What a shitshow of a town. Excellent adult entertainment. Dangerous as all hell, but that's part of the fun.

I cooked 7 curries from scratch yesterday - it was a triumph. Apart from the tarka dal - for whatever reason, that was rancid. Do Pataks do 7 different ones? |
