It doesnt make it not piss just because there's nothing else on tap better in a particular pub. I wouldnt drink any of them and would go to bottles and hope there's something better. Here I would go my local and have either Estrella, Peroni, Kirin or Sapporo. In blighty I'd go for something like Erdinger. So you've put Estrella (  ) and Peroni above Heineken? Wow. Erdinger is a great beer to be fair. That has actually given me a right goo. I may have to visit the off licence this evening. |

Yeah it’s usually an Erdinger or Hoegaarden for me, but you only get those at the fancy bars over here.

Hoegaarden is vile Rhouses It’s a bit girlie, but I like that it has a hefty taste and is also light going down. Not much of a beer drinker anyway, most of it gives me a headache unless I’m drinking three or four of them at a time. |

I like Estrella lovely taste of holidays of it, big fan if Kilkenny always seems to be in the pubs in alps

I wouldn't really go for Estrella but I once spent an evening at a bar in Beijing for my mate's wetting his baby's head, and the barman was flogging us Estrella Damm Inedit ("crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant" according to Wikipedia), which was very nice, the poor bastard's eyes popped out of his head on receipt of the bill, having said "just put those on my tab, it's only Estrella". Right you are then.

Also depends which Peroni you're drinking as there's a few. I don't drink the standard Nastro here as we have got one called legerra that is 3.5 very light and refreshing. But the main one I drink is Peroni Red that's the most popular in Italy too. Estrella has got a lot more flavour than Heineken piss water too. And it's stronger. I've had the fancy Estrella they have it here in the bottle shop. Found it a bit to dark and headache'y. Nice flavour but far too much for a session. |
