Have discovered my Tesco Local does cans of Moretti as a nice little change up from the Stellas. Never seen it in cans. This poses another quandary. Tin v bottle. Anyone else think the tins taste, well, like tins? Always think beers tastes cleaner in bottles and you can actually taste a metallic thingy going on in cans. What's the general consensus on this? I prefer it out of a can. It keeps light out and is a tighter seal. Most good beer comes in cans these days. The only reason for drinking bottles is to slow yourself down on a stag do/marathon bender.
"pint, pint, pint..." "don't really like what they've got on draft, get me a bottle of [whatever] yeah?"
9 hours later, everyone flattened, you're still feeling chipper.

When I read Si's posts, this plays in my head Belated LOL for the Mills. Came pumping out of the Harmon/Kardon when I turned on the motor this morning. Freaked the wife out big time - hopefully it will scare her enough to leave me in peace for the rest of the day. |
