As has been mentioned before, the 4 in 1 from Charlie's is greater than anything the imperial nips have ever served up at 3am of a Sunday. So it's all relative.

Now, the Nips do know how to make a soup, give them their due.
And how to spray a crying 19-year old girl in cum.

Haha lest we forget how efficient they are at stabbing cheating wives/husbands to death in broad daylight.

What is this 4 in 1 from Charlie's that people speak of?

I've been to Ficcin twice in a week now and it's incredible. Anatolyan/Black Sea dishes that would blow your socks off. Turkish food still way out in front of all the rest, way out. I find the lack of cutlery disturbing.

looking for decent cuisine before the Refracted gig at the Roundhouse. can you recommend one, Ed? I live 5 mins away. You have quite a lot to chose from in Camden. But if you cross the Chalk Farm bridge into Primrose Hill you've got 2 pretty good gastropubs in The Lansdowne and The Engineer on Gloucester Avenue although to be fair the Lansdowne might be the most expensive pub in the world. Also recommend the Greenberry Cafe on Regents Park Rd, Lemonia (Greek - grilled meat) a few doors up and the French place L'absinthe on Chalcot Rd. There's a really old Belgo opposite the Roundhouse which is still going after 25 yrs - not been for ages. For after the gig there is the Marathon kebab house also opposite which is really good (if you stick to the shish!). Ping me if you want more details. B

B Cheers Mate...We had a Sunday roast in the Engineer the other year. Superb food. We're staying in Primrose Hill that night, so that's quite handy.

By the way, Ed, a 4 in 1 is a hidden gem only the Chirish could produce.
Chips, rice, chicken wings and curry sauce, all in the one brilliantly presented foil tray.
I'd like to see the Chinese try and better that simple delight, when it mattered.
