My first bird at 16 old fella was a miner in silverdale colliery just up the road from us. I used to go and have a beer with him and my Mrs in the silverdale WMC. Hard as nails in there it was and chockers with blokes looking like carbon copies of Ruiz. Fat little unfit blokes covered in tats and itching for a scuffle. Boxing hasn't fallen from grace that far, the guy was in no shape to be in contention for world titles. The whole thing is a farce.
