So I’ve just got round to watching the fight. It’s been a busy weekend as I’m sure you can imagine.
AJ simply doesn’t like fighting smaller fighters. He’s struggled against all of them. The punch that knocked Ruiz down wasn’t the kind of punch that you follow up and go for the knockout. AJ misjudged that and got caught. He also got a whack to the side of the head and that scrambles your brain. AJ never seemed to recover from it and was completely out of sorts from that moment on. Just listening to him talking in his corner you can hear that he wasn’t thinking straight.
Feel for AJ but I do think the hype has got to him a bit. Needs to get back to focusing on being a fighter. Fuck all of this sponsorship stuff he seems happy to spend all his time doing.
There are big question marks now about how strong AJ’s chin is. The rematch will be intriguing.

That’s why he was asking “what round is it?”
Letting us know he’d been told to take a fall.
Some semi-convincing acting to be fair but not enough to fool me.

Smalls its not really Ruiz was very unlucky to get beat by Parker he has been tipped by many as one to watch don't let the way he looks confuse you. Joshua hasn't fought many quality fighters this has been on the cards the likes of Fury would take the piss out of him with his movement. Its an area that is missing with AJ and will always end up getting him in battles. |

Jesus Christ Leggo what fight were you watching Fury clearly had it won regardless of the knock downs surely you know how boxing works! Plenty going on behind the scenes including possible drug tests being missed but don't make me laugh if you think Joshua is up to beating Fury or Wilder he obviously has a chance only if he KO's Fury and avoids Wilder's power very doubtful.
