>> No tits or explosions. Probably not for Marvel fans. The assumption that people who are into Marvel flicks cannot also appreciate films like Phantom thread. Lots of people on here are like that.

No Wally, it's nothing to do with the ability to appreciate both decent films and children's films, it's more the grown adult men raving about the perpetual stream of Marvel cash-in cinematic clusterfucks like they're the second coming of Christ. So there.
Also: ner, ner, ner-ner, ner.

Borrowed a copy of Burn After Reading from a mate. Tried to buy it a year or so ago, sold out or not for sale anymore everywhere. Well, with Finnish subtitles anyway. It's not a must, but I like them anyway. Still a fantastic Coen-brothers comedy, Brad Pitt should have won an Oscar for his role in this. That end scene. m.youtube.com/watch?v=SlA9hmrC8DU

The new Duncan Jones-movie on Netflix, Mute got absolutely slaughtered by the critics. Damn shame, was looking forward to watching that tonight.

Mute - a solid Eastenders/10. Watch it and you'll know what I mean.

All of my friends who've watched it turned it off halfway through. I won't even bother. Would love a La Nausea-review of it though. Someone summon him please.

The Cloverfield Paradox - 5/10 Modern day made for TV movie. Shame, as it could have been decent / interesting. yep, good premise, shit movie.

Certainly doesn't deserve the mauling it's been getting - I think there's some agenda thing going on since this is the first movie in a new wave that's skipping the cinema completely. It's just nothing special (Either that or it's because the yank is the bad guy in it). Worth a watch and then pretty much forget about it instantly. 6/10
