Incredibly bad.

Mollys Game - Decent enough (true) story but not very well delivered - Sorkin is obviously heavy on the dialogue where this needed a bit more emphasis on the action. Jessica Chastain is great though and I couldn't work out why she was doing an irritating voice until I heard the real Molly speak (Chastain nails her voice superbly). 6/10 Seen this, great fun lumps on Jess was my thought. Also thought throughout we weren't getting the whole story either.

Wife and I watched The Big Sick as a Valentine's Day-movie. Liked it a lot.

Watched The Ritual last night. I was genuinely freaked out after the night they had inside the house in the woods but after that it just fizzled out. I've seen scarier "monsters" on Grafton Street at 3am.

Borrowed a copy of Burn After Reading from a mate. Tried to buy it a year or so ago, sold out or not for sale anymore everywhere. Well, with Finnish subtitles anyway. It's not a must, but I like them anyway.
Still a fantastic Coen-brothers comedy, Brad Pitt should have won an Oscar for his role in this.

Black Panther, loved the score and another great different style Marvel film. A great villain too, which is rare in most Marvel films. The Shape of water - loved it. Still need to see that one!

I've seen scarier "monsters" on Grafton Street at 3am. Watched it with the missus. She wondered why I'd turned all the lights off in the house for us to watch it lol. Did the trick for her. Beginning is pretty much standard for meeting up with your mates now - can't it's a school night/got to get back for the kids/wife'll kill me, but there's always one who wants to carry it on.

Enjoyed The Shape of Water. Michael Shannon, Sally Hawkins and Richard Jenkins were all superb.

...Phantom Thread. Incredible performance from DDL as per, although thought co-star Vicky Krieps almost stole the show. Paul Thomas Anderson amazing at nailing intricate detail and putting the viewer right in the middle of a relationship. Jonny Greenwood's soundtrack ace too.
No tits or explosions. Probably not for Marvel fans.
