Kidulthood is bloody awful. Like a 1.5hr episode of Grange Hill. Kept on expecting Gonch and the lads to swing by with a sausage on a fork. Gritty my hoop.

Dredd also has a good soundtrack. Some nice instrumental synthy pieces on there. Apart from that it’s Dreadful Wahey etc etc

We watched Mute last night. Although I was stoned to the gills and had no idea what was going on, I enjoyed it somehow. I'll need to watch it again to see what the story was as it seemed good. It looks brilliant, I know that much.
Not much of a review but thanks anyway, lads.

Buster’s Mal Heart. Not sure about it, silly religious overtones obscure an odd film that should’ve been better. 6/10

Saw The Thin Red Line for the first time last night. Great film, but tails off quite badly at the end I though. Great score, obviously. 8/10

Watched stand by me with our eldest last week. Forgot how fucking great that film is. She loved it. Which was a triumph given she is 14 in a couple of weeks and knows more about everything than i do, apparently.

The Mummy. 0/10 Tedious, derivative waste of time and effort from all concerned. Russell Crowe has no place in this shambles whatsoever; talk about pissing on your chips. Everybody who took part should be ashamed of themselves. Shit. Did Tom & Russ really need the dosh? incredibly bad film.

Bladerunner Final Cut version. 6/10 The final cut didn't do it any favours imo.

Not a movie but watched Derren Brown's The Push last night. Worth a watch as it's very good.
