Saw The Thin Red Line for the first time last night. Great film, but tails off quite badly at the end I though. Great score, obviously. 8/10 One of my favorites. Wonderful atmospheric quality to it. Don't ask me about Tree of Life though... |

The Party. Couple of strong actors in Kristen Scott Thomas and Timothy Spall, but everyone else is so fucking shit, it ruins what was already a poor script. One god-send is that it only lasts a little over an hour. 5/10.

Seven Psychopaths - I remember this coming out and thinking I should see it, but then never coming across it again. Dark, funny, clever and stupid - great film. 9/10

I, Tonya...very enjoyable and funny..about an Olympic Ice Skater from the US....great turn by the mother, apparetly up for an oscar. 8/10

Fully deserved Oscar for Allison Jenny as the mother. The Shawn security bloke could have been played by a few on this board, I think it is fair to say. |
