I liked the bit (amongst many) when he was on the run and some dibble said he parted his hair the other way and looked a total different person.
They should have looked for him with a mirror.

It's nuts how inept the authorities were with Ted Bundy, that second escape led to a lot of murders. At times I didn't know if I was watching some sick comedy with the way they handled him and the circus around his court case, reminded me of that wacky movie "Serial Mom". Had no idea it was that badly handled. To be fair, it was the 1970s and we only know about him with the benefit of hindsight. He wasn't suspected of being a mass murderer at the time and his personality and background was such that he wasn't considered to be a hardened criminal. Colorado during the 70s, especially up around Snowmass and Boulder was considered a playground for the rich & famous with lax policing, snowdrifts of cocaine and easily corrupted young cops. A completely different era. Context is important. He wouldn't have been arrested in the first place if he had just driven with his bloody headlights on anyway. A comedy of errors that led to more murders unfortunately, you're right.

Also was mad how he was arrested in Florida and didn't give his real name, they never heard of a fugitive from Colorado named Bundy anyhow. None of the police forces spoke to each other.
As Vin alludes it was a halycon time for the serial killer.

Can anyone name a black serial killer BTW? No looking up. I can think of a few latinos, not a single black serial killer. This is a white man's game.

Saw that one on Ted Bundy, thought it was very well done and not too padded out as sometimes the norm on Netflix. He was a rum cunt and murdered loads of pretty tasty women which gets a thumbs down from me. I do hope Netflix do a film on Fred West, or Peter Sutcliffe to show us Brits are up there with the best in the business

I was at a rave back in 94 I believe and there was a chap wearing a T with Fred West's face on the front and "FREE FRED WEST" printed on the back. Everyone was weirded out by him but in hindsight it's one of the funniest things I ever saw.

With black serial killers, I think about WeeBey, Chris Partlow and Snoop from The Wire, and how many real-life characters there must be like that, who are cold blooded killers in the hood. Must be a ton of them in Chicago, as we speak.
