Read AA Gill's Pour Me recently. Excellent. My missus read this on holiday and was constantly reading out quotes she though were hilarious. Iβm sure itβs a good book, but she murdered it for me. The cunt.

Michael Farris Smith's The Fighter was good, but depressing, heartbreaking. Not unexpected.
Fredrik Backman's Beartown was excellent. And I don't get hockey.
The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty. Fair. Will read book 2 when it comes out.
Currently reading book 9 of The Wheel of Time series, Winter's Heart. A couple of the books have been a bit meh, but I still plan on reading the entire series.

Decent film, but Iβm a bit tired of Broadbent. Worth a watch.

Tom Gauld's comic strips are brilliant. Just got done with Baking with Kafka, easy reading and very very good.

That was me Jules, it's a great read isn't.

Rereading through Michael Connelly's Bosch-books. Fun reads, but not much more. Still better than most crime books these days.

Rereading through Michael Connelly's Bosch-books. Fun reads, but not much more. Still better than most crime books these days. Never read him, perhaps I should eventually. Currently ankle-deep in Sara Blaedel's The Killing Forest. Creepy freaky first pages, definitely. TBF, J.K. Rowling's books as Robert Galbraith are enjoyable.
