All's quiet from work. A few of us have a feeling they are going to lay us of with an option to take a severance package. Or the sack as its more commonly known.

I'm on 75% pay and will likely be furloughed for couple of months. Could have been worse as axe fell on my contract and swiftly pivoted to perm salaried role instead. Lots of ducking and diving going on to keep the money rolling in. Tough times.

Pretty sure the severance packages are going to roll out at Flipkart and last time that happened it was pretty brutal (people just got one month extra pay). And with Walmart calling the shots, I'm assuming it's not going to get better than that.
10 years of gratuity in my final settlement has made the economy falling apart an easier to pill to swallow.
