So, given that the lockdown is expected to last a bit longer, I am thinking of buying an exercise bike. Nothing fancy, just something I can do 30 minutes on a day to keep my cardio up. Have tried street jogging and it's just not for me, and the gym is obviously out of bounds. Good investment or not? Apart from getting the blood flowing, what parts of the body is it good for? low-impact cardio - good for the whole system, the legs and a benefit to the core. Have you got a bike already and what's your budget, sport?

Cheers Grant. Not got a bike yet. Thinking around £400-500 mark. I just can’t do street jogging much longer, bores me to tears

I doubt you'll be able to find much available. The missus is currently struggling to find a barbell. She managed to find a multigym, that I spent 6 hours putting together the weekend and to be fair she has used it a fair amount and I'm reaping the benefits.
However, everything non-essential seems to be taking a fucking age.
Other than a fucking request for my Tax Self Assessment for the 19/20 Year where the letter is dated 6 April FFS!

Get running.
All is required is a pair of Asics Gel Kayano and a shed load of minerals.

As I move up to 40 my mineral deposits are diminishing!

I'm PAYE. Have to wait for my P11D before the taxman rapes me for my private medical benefit.

No such worries with a straightforward public sector pay slip. Take the details from month 12 and go!
I always feel super smug doing it early!

Work suddenly picked up today. Don't know if that's indicative of anything but I've almost had a full day for the first time since it all went tits up. Chinese are all back at work it seems. Or all back to doing work at least. I don't really have any personal relationships as such to ask, I deal mainly with 3rd party legal firms but I'm assuming they are working from home remotely too?

I've been riding round some O the older suburbs round where I live and it's pretty weird how quiet it is. Kind of get the feeling it's how it used to be in the 70s. Must have been idyllic round here back then. Now you can hardly fucking move during the day even the rat runs are fucked.
