first day with the wife working from home and I have turned into an IT helpdesk lol. Set mine up with Facebook last night. Was like teaching Bambi how to drive an HGV. |

BT and my total and utter incompetence are a match made in WiFi hell. christian is offering 24/7 IT help. might as well offer out my services but they have hardly been groundbreaking. this morning i have had to sort out her vpn as it was not connecting (logged out then back in again), set up her monitor and docking station, connect her to the wifi, give her my conference call details as she could not work hers and the list goes on. pretty much all of these she could have sorted herself |

i have been kicked out of my nice comfortable office and working on the kitchen table. Decks have been put away and god knows what she has done with all my records. going to be a revolution in my household if this behaviour carries on into day 2

You could. Or you could put it down to Facebook creating an algorithm that detects the sweetspot between audience and frequency and raping the fucking arse out of it. And you know what? Their business model might be fucked in 3 years, but they’ll still turn a profit of $50bn a year. I know I’m right. Isn't that still about increasing their ads though? There could be a whole host of reasons - I'm not getting many ads at all, but I'm infrequent user - you could fit the profile of someone that sustains a tsunami of ads and comes back for more, so they've simply dialled you up. They've been increasing revenue significantly for some time. They're very good at it. |

i'm down to 6 clients this week, maybe 2 or 3 next week, and if we go into a lock down next week as i'm expecting, it's pretty much vacation for me for the foreseeable future. as long as the bills are being paid and we're not deathly ill, it could be worse.
