I always remember Judge Jules saying he never played trance at home, not sure about S&D though.

Sasha puts up the Luzoscura (or however the fuck itβs spelt) playlist of spotify doesnβt he - he reckons thatβs what heβs been listening to outside of the clubs.

I've said it for years mate. Sasha and digweed don't play music they want to and haven't done for a long long time. It's very juvenile in most what they play out. Interesting point. As in, an absolutely nonsensical one? Lol

The down tempo part is top shelf. He should do more of these too.

As in, an absolutely nonsensical one? Lol I didn't say I agree with it. You've got to admit that JD's Bunker sets are a milion times better than his Live Ins.

I hear ya, mate, didn't think you agreed at all. The bunker mixes are class although I was there for Live in London and it was an immense night of tuneage.
You'd never think he was playing tunes he doesn't like. Sure only an absolute moron would think that.

What makes me laugh about Diggers is he has played some of the finest dance music known to man yet barely taps his foot. Those two kids of his put him to shame in the dancing stakes. At one point (when his kids were dancing towards the end) he was defo raving off camera. His headphone cable was jumping around all over the place. He then clearly saw this was the case and stopped pronto lol

but I'm not sure that he as a DJ or Bedrock as a label have done anything of any note for some time. I appreciate that has a lot to do with the state of current music Sure, but what does it have to do with the state of current music?

Maybe it's just run its cause. I talk to a lot of people who've been into it as long as me feeling the same. Its all just samey or been done before. Maybe there's only so many samey sounds put in a different order that can be achieved. Is that the current state of dance music?

I think you could be right. I have been into for a long time and have enjoyed hearing it evolve throughout the years with different genre's popping up and creating there own scenes. I don't buy singles anymore but i do purchase artist albums instead. I did think techno was the way forward and it most probably is but even that is starting to sound the same. I'm still searching though.

Think a few of you need to broaden your electronic music horizons.

Who'd have guessed it would have been too much for your simplistic brain to compute ? My collection is about as wide and long as it could be. After 30 years plus things start going round in circles.
