elon musk is at least half a charlatan, and has more than a hair of trump to him. paypal is his only legit accomplishment, imo. tesla is a scam, and space ex is even more so. my main issue with him is that he is more interested in media coverage than actual results. his idea for car tunnels in LA has been shot to shit by every civil engineer around. all about money making, and nothing to do with improving the lives of the city's population. now he's shooting his sports car into space while the average joe is enjoying a $1.50 pay raise. if he wants to showboat, i couldn't give a shit, but his ability to entrance morons is quite concerning, especially in the wake of trump. On Musk... It's a bit mad if you think that, in an attempt to get fame / media coverage / attention, he poured all his money, time and energy into a space ship company, and rewrote the way we travel into space. He could have just done a reality TV show off the back of PayPal? It might be the most difficult way anyone ever has tried to increase their fame. Chris Evans said something similar on the radio here last week, he just dismissed the whole thing as a stunt. I was sat in the car thinking 'you dozy cunt, you've missed the whole point, he's just made history with a game changing piece of technology and you think he's after column inches?'. The fact that the pay load weight has been increased so much will have a huge impact on what we can send into space. Colonising other planets and the like just became a whole load easier, never mind the advances in science that will now be possible as space stations get bigger. Is he a bit of a weird cunt with an odd name? Defo. Easy to dislike him? Sure. I'm alright with him, but I can see how others wouldn't be. As for Tesla... I'm not that knowledgeable about business, but new comapnys not turning a profit is quite normal? No? Didn't Twitter just make it's first ever profit despite having been around a decade? Electric cars are here to stay, and he is 'handily placed' to start raking it in I would say. Politics... yeah, I fuckin hate the privatisation of industry that should be government run, and yeah, this should be NASA, but, if your beloved presidents are gonna keep unfunding them, then I'd rather the likes of Musk stepped in than say, Halliburton etc. Totally agree, amps. Maybe zackster happened to piss next to the dude and realised that he'll just never measure up to Musk? |

yah know, it's the damnedest thing, but since i've purchased my tessla, my desire to listen to high-grade techno has passed. my flu vanished out of nowhere, i now enjoy listening to tale of us, and the thought of another man's privates in my hand is appealing. my lost weekend with ed can't get here soon enough! elon musk truly is a genius.
